- Check-in from 15h00 / Check-out before 10h00. Unfortunately, bag drops or early check ins are not possible
- The reserve rules state that no guests will be allowed to enter or exit the reserve between 21h00 and 05h00
- The lodge is rented out on a self-catering basis and has a minimum of a 2 nights stay
- A maximum of 4 guests are allowed. No children under 14 and no infants
- No loud music, excessive noise or smoking is allowed. Heavy fines are issued for noise pollution. Please only smoke on the patios
- Please do not leave an open braai fire unattended. No open fires are permitted on windy nights, this is a game reserve rule. Always close the braai cover on the patio and cover the coals with the steel lid in the boma. Ensure that all coals are fully extinguished at the end of every braai
- Please do not feed the animals
- Animals have right of way. If there are animals in the main road, you should stop at least 50m away from them. Do not under any circumstances get out of your car
- Do not under any circumstances post any pictures of rhino sightings on Mjejane on social media
- Mjejane Game Reserve has a strict speed limit of 40km per hour that must be adhered to. Should you exceed the speed limit and be fined, you will be responsible for paying the fine
- No self drives are allowed on Mjejane and guests must stick to the main road only. No vehicle other than a qualified overland safari vehicle driven by a qualified ranger are allowed on the restricted access roads. Should you not adhere to this rule, you will be responsible for paying the fine. Game drives can be booked on request.
